Im still trying to come to terms with summer ending. Teachers first day is next Friday. How kind a gesture especially for those with children! 😞 I hope everyone is enjoying the last of you vacation days. Ill probably head in tomorrow and get my to-do list warmed up. Besides all the usual time sucking BTS chores I have a new social studies program to learn. Ive been complaining about not having materials since I moved to 6th grade so that is good. The bad new is I suspect it will be much harder to teach children to love geography, religion, economics, ancient civilization and the rest of our topics using old fashioned book learning and not the active learning materials I had gathered and created.
