Im totally horrified by this and Im certain that this isnt just Rotherham but happens to an extent everywhere. Often this happens to the most vulnerable of kids who are either totally or partially under the protection of the authorities - these are kids who usually through no fault of their own have been placed in the care of all of us and we collectively have let them down. There are some difficult issues to be confronted in this case concerning the evil bastards that have done this and similar acts elsewhere, but be certain this isnt an issue that only has its roots in one particular community. Also culpable are the people who knew, and there must have been a large number in various authority positions, and who let this continue - I would like to think that I wouldnt, in fact Im certain that I couldnt just watch this happen.
