Im trying to show my followers some tips and tricks for exercise, with so many areas to think about, little changes make a HUGE difference. Always exercise with intent, I personally think for physique development the two biggest factors are exercise selection + technique and tempo. Many other variables but if you dont have the first two, chances are that your physique will be missing out on small changes over time which make all the difference over the years. This video shows me doing an adapted for of a cable row. It doesnt look too different in terms of pulling however, if you look closely Im pausing at the end, separated my shoulder blade and over emphasising the stretch in the lat, essentially, looking for the mind muscle connection. Once I find that weight loaded stretch I know exactly what muscle is being activated/engaged and this really helps with development. Another key to back movements is to think of your hand as an accessory, its really a hook and you should think about driving with the elbow and pulling that through the torso. These little tips will help with activation. Let me know what you think if you try the above? Todays workout as follows A1 - Chest supported horizontal cable single arm rows - 115kg - 5 x 7 - 3111 - 180s rest B1 - 10% incline DB bench press - 35kgs - 10, 10, 8, 7 - 3110 - 90s rest C1 - Face pulls - 56kg - 2111 - 3 x 15 - 60s rest D1 - Wide grip seated cable rows - 63kg - 3 x 25 - 2011 - 60s rest E1 - Triceps dips - bodyweight- 4 x 10 - 3111 - 60s rest
