Im unable to be with my Mom today because I awoke to a bit of a cold. And a thickness to my voice, usually exhaustion however I believe its a cold. Will not take chances in exposing my Mom, nor will I get better by driving up and down the road. However, my sister Susan called and told me about her Thanksgiving, and I have an invite for a future Thanksgiving, and another invite from Bree to a Thanksgiving celebration, however Im about giving blessings not colds, so I have a rain check there too. I think Im pretty blessed by each. Its a day to reflect and give thanks for the blessings in my life. My family, first our Mom (my Momma) Im thankful shes getting the care she needs in the hospital. And Im blessed by her love and getting to see her lovely smile. Love you Momma. My Dad (CB) for being there everyday, exhausted or not giving our Mom his undivided attention. CB, Im grateful for your love for our Mom. My brother Curtis who has been a ROCK through this whole endeavor. Im blessed by your calmness and positivity. My other brother Anthony who has been routing us all on and Im blessed because you remember to tell me whats important and last but not least my sister Susan who has had sage advise, listened and laughed with me. Im blessed because you truly love me. Im a sensitive Woman, have been ALL my life...thats who I am. Who believes in saying whats on my heart. And God blessed me that way because its a gift to hear the hearts and prayers of others, to discern amongst his people and pray for them and to love all I come in contact with. Its who I am and Im blessed because of it. Life is truly a gift. I unwrap it everyday and go forward attempting to remember how important this gift is in my life. Sometimes, I fall short however I give it my best each and every day. This last week has truly allowed me to see through all the junk that seems to crowd out the important aspects of my life and see the truth. Thanks you! Lastly, thank you to all of you whove sent your love, support and prayers. Social media has some real positive aspects and this is one. The ability to ask for prayer and hear back from others, your on my prayer list, your family is in my prayers, we are praying for your Mom. What confidence and power that gives me and I know my family. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
