Imagine if it had been public knowledge back in 1981 that Reagan had been diagnosed with Alzheimers disease, or that he had fallen, hurt his head, and had to be hospitalized for a few days a couple years before the election. If you dont think that the Democrats wouldnt have demanded records and transcripts and answers about Reagans mental acuity, you have another thing coming. Of course they would, and truthfully, the entire country should be at least casually concerned with what Ms. Clintons brain looks like in terms of physical damage. I have no doubt shes an upstanding, tremendously intelligent and well-qualified candidate. But shes also going to be about the same age Reagan was with a verified stay in a hospital for a head injury. It would seem to me that provided there isnt anything to hide in her medical records, she and her staff will be able to quickly dispense with any unpleasantness by releasing those records.
