Important guest on the second floor tonight, Eric, can you make sure it stays extra quiet? So of course, I have three incidents involving noise, one on either side of the VIPs room, and one across the hall. What are the odds? Two incidents were noisy, but minor and over quickly. The third started as a screaming match in the hall, then a broken beer bottle, then minutes later APD bursting into the room with guns drawn investigating a gang rape in progress. Oh, but it was a prank call in poor taste made by the guy who broke the beer bottle. And it finally all came to a boil with me dragging a drunk woman out of the room kicking and screaming and APD arriving again. An hour of frightening noises from this one room. Corporate is questioning the need for security at the hotel. I think after tonight I have job security.
