Important information for bus users on the following routes: 7, 14, 45, 47, 49, 58, 59, 60, 900, 907 and 957 regarding services next week - Monday 23rd Sept - Fri 27th/Sat 28th Sept. Service 14: Marston Green, Alcott Lane Monday to Friday 23rd - 27th September 2013 from 07:00 until 17:00 each day. Alcott Lane will be closed from Station Road to Chelmsley Lane for resurfacing work Service 14: Buses from Birmingham City Centre: At Station Road Island buses will make a u-turn back to Station Road then return via Holly Lane, Tile Cross Road and Bosworth Drive to Moorend Island then the normal route to Chelmsley Wood. Buses towards Birmingham City Centre: from Moorend Island buses will run via Bosworth Drive, Tile Cross Road and Holly Lane to Station Road. -------------------------------------------- Services 45, 47, 49: Longbridge, Longbridge Lane Monday to Saturday, 23rd - 28th September 2013 overnight from 19:00 until 06:00 each night. Longbridge Lane will be closed from Grovelly Lane to Tessal Lane to allow resurfacing works. Service 45: Buses from Birmingham: from Cofton Road buses will continue via Grovelly Lane, Coombes Lane, Thurlestone Road and Edenhurst Road (they will take layover at the top of Edenhurst Road). Buses to Birmingham: from Edenhurst Road buses will run via Grovelly Lane then continue via Cofton Road to rejoin normal route. Service 47: Buses from Birmingham: from Turves Green Road buses will run via Fairfax Road, Cropredy Road, Cofton Road, Grovelly Lane, Coombes Lane, Thurlestone Road and Edenhurst Road to Grovellly Lane and the normal route. Buses towards Birmingham: buses will continue along Grovelly Lane then run via Cofton Road, Cropredy Road and Fairfax Road to Turves Green Road then the normal route. Service 49: Buses towards Maypole: from Bristol Road South buses will run via Lickey Road, Lowhill Lane, Grovelly Lane, Coombes Lane, Thurlestone Road, Edenhurst Road and Grovelly Lane then the normal route. Buses from Maypole: from Grovelly Lane buses will run via Edenhurst Road, Thurlestone Road, Coombes Lane, Grovelly Lane,Lowhill Lane and Lickey Road to Bristol Road South then the normal route. Please note: buses will serve Edenhurst Lane in the same direction for all journeys ------------------------------ Services 58, 59, 60, 900 and 957: Yardley, Coventry Road From Monday to Friday, 23rd - 27th September 2013 overnight from 20:00 until 06:00. Coventry Road will be closed in one direction (from Birmingham City Centre) from Junction of Swan Island (Coventry Road) and the Swan Underpass to Clay Lane for resurfacing works. Service 58, 59, 60, 900, 900A, 957: Buses from Birmingham: from Coventry Road buses will run via Church Road, Yew Tree Island, Church Road, Yew Tree Lane and Rowlands Road to Coventry Road then the normal route. Buses towards Birmingham are not affected and will run via the normal route. --------------------- Services 7 and 907: Perry Common, College Road (Phase 2) Monday to Friday, 23rd - 27th September 2013 overnight from 20:00 until 06:00. College Road will be closed in one direction from The Ridgeway to Hawthorn for Pase 2 of resurfacing work. Service 7: Buses from Birmingham: from The Ridgeway buses will run via Warren Road and Hawthorn Road to Perry Common Road then the normal route. Buses towards Birmingham are not affected and will run via the normal route. Service 907: Buses from Birmingham: from College Road buses will run via Warren Road and Hawthorn Road to College Road then the normal route. Buses towards Birmingham are not affected and will run via the normal route.
