In 2011 and 2013, Grand Lodge of California’s Institute for Masonic Studies held International Conferences in conjunction with the history department at the University of California, Los Angeles. These academic forums brought together acclaimed contemporary Masonic scholars who traced the roots of the fraternity and imagined its future. Now, for the first time, the papers from both conferences have been compiled and made available. Revista de Estudios Históricos de la Masoniería (REHMLAC), the Journal of Historical Studies in Latin American and Caribbean Freemasonry, has published the papers from both conferences in full in its online journal.
