In February, we reported on a new Matthew Ryan single benefitting John Anderson, a diehard Springsteen fan battling ALS. John, in a wheelchair and in the final stages of the disease, had been fully prepared that Saturdays Virginia Beach show might turn out to be his last. What he might not have been prepared for: a backstage tour and visit that night with Bruce, the band and crew, thanks to the kindness of the Springsteen organization and the efforts of a whole lot of people who love the guy.
