In Memory - Sept 21: 1998 – Florence Griffith-Joyner, American runner (b. 1959) Florence Delorez Griffith (December 21, 1959 – September 21, 1998), also known as Flo-Jo, was an American track and field athlete. She is considered the "fastest woman of all time" based on the fact that the world records she set in 1988 for both the 100 metres and 200 metres still stand and have yet to be seriously challenged. She died in her sleep as the result of an epileptic seizure in 1998 at the age of 38. She attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). ===================================== 2006 – Boz Burrell, English singer-songwriter and bass player (Bad Company and King Crimson) (b. 1946) Raymond "Boz" Burrell (1 August 1946 – 21 September 2006) was an English musician. Originally a vocalist and guitarist, Burrell is best known for his bass playing and work with the rock bands King Crimson and Bad Company. He died of a heart attack in Spain on 21 September 2006 aged 60.
