In Nashville News, Congratulations to Joe Nichols on the birth of his new daughter, Georgia Blue Nichols. According to a tweet from Joe, the little one was born at 8:06 a.m. in Texas Tuesday weighing seven pounds, four ounces. Joe says Georgia and her mom, Joes wife, Heather, are doing fine. The couple has a two-year-old daughter named Dylan, and Joe has a 15-year-old daughter, Ashelyn, from a previous relationship. He and his wife are expecting their fourth son in September, and he tells People magazine its a welcome surprise. He says, “To have four boys is pretty awesome for a father.” Josh and wife Jennifers brood currently includes Hampton, whos 7 1/2; Colby, who turns 5 next month; and Marion, 3. Josh says Colby has suggested the family name the baby Backwoods Boy, but the singer all but ruled out the idea. Will he be able to handle four kids in the same house? Josh, 36, says he has no idea what its going to be like, but, “We’re just going to take it one day at a time.” Keith Urban reached new heights selling his URBAN line of guitars on HSN over the weekend. Keiths appearance on the network Sunday moved more than 22,000 of his Light the Fuse and Phoenix URBAN guitar packages. He sold 20,000 guitar packages during an appearance on HSN last November. Now that more than 40,000 fans have bought his guitars, Keith says, Hopefully, some people that have gotten these guitars of ours will take to it. Thatd be awesome. E! News reports that the singer is being sued by Lucky 13, a California clothing company that was established in 1991. A lawsuit filed on Tuesday accuses Taylor of trademark infringement, claiming unauthorized use of the companys registered trademarks. According to E!, the company has reached out to Taylor and her camp several times, to no avail. E!s report doesnt specify exactly when and how Taylor allegedly used these trademarks. She does paint the number 13 on her hand before her concerts, for example, and some of the shoes in her footwear line for Keds come with a special charm incorporating the number 13, but its not clear how these would count as trademark infringements. Taylors attraction to the number 13 stems from the fact that December 13 is her birthday, and also for its odd re-appearance in her life at key moments. As she told MTV, I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time Ive won an award Ive been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter. Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, its a good thing.
