In October of 2012 i lost my Mother to cancer and in her last few weeks she was taken care of impeccably by The Salisbury Hospice who made her comfortable and safe. My mum was a very house proud and home-loving person and for her to feel comfortable and happy in somewhere other than her bed and house was a very big deal and shows how much the hospice work to look after their patients I recently started my weightloss journey along with my wife-to-be after she also lost her Mother not long after i did. Their deaths obviously rocked our worlds and continue to, it has shoved our reality sharply in our faces and this has spurred us on to losing weight so that we have each other for aslong as possible. The hospice did such an amazing job with my mum for the short time she was there. I want to raise money for them and think its would be a nice bonus to the weightloss. I have no target to reach, im just asking for people to donate to me what they can, whether its pennies or pounds, maybe weekly a donation per lb i lose. Its completly upto you and honestly everything will help. If the hospice did this good a job with just one treasured relative then imagine all the loved ones they have made comfortable, happy and safe in the past and how many more they can with a steady flow of donations My starting weight for this fundraising is as of my weigh in Last Night at the Slimming World group i am part of Weight as of 25/6/2013: 29 St 13 Lbs I weight in every Tuesday evening and will update that on this page.
