In Vietnam, a Banker & his associate have been sentenced to death for embezzlement of assets, mismanagement, abuse of power and fraud, as the Vietnams government has promised to crack down on the corruption that currently riddles the country... In Guyana, the Chairman & Vice Chairman (VC) & Dep CEO of its 3rd largest Financial Institution, the NBS have conspired with the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and others to: · Place trumped up charges on the CEO & 2 Managers KNOWING they were innocent and also paid a special prosecutor (the VCs relative) to delay the matter which he did for a long 4 1/2 years, while protecting the Dep CEO & others involved in the scam! · Deliberately disregarding the Laws of Guyana (TESPA & the NBS Act) to terminate the services of the CEO & 2 Managers (saying its because they are negligent when the Board is negligent by repaying the account holder although NO fraud determined!) · Deliberately withholding statutory payments/pension & benefits LEGALLY due to the CEO & Managers, for over 6 -SIX-years & CONTINUING (unless the CEO drops the lawsuit & accepts half his pension & no benefits)! The Conspirators have been assisted by Judges & Lawyers to deny the victims justice. So what has been done to the former despite justifiable requests for investigation and PROOF of their Criminal & Unethical & Evil actions against the latter? · The NBS members who called a special meeting on Sep 8, 2007 were precluded - by Chairman Mc Doom & VC Gopaul - from providing evidence of the innocence of the CEO & 2 Managers and to discuss their ILLEGAL removal (see video below & Mr Gaskins comments). · An Amendment to the NBS Act was then RUSHED thru Parliament & quickly assented to by Pres. Jagdeo to make it IMPOSSIBLE for NBS members to call a special meeting in event of wrongdoings by the Board (see media article under comments) · The DPP was quickly confirmed in her then acting position after the justifiable request was made to President Jagdeo for an investigation · The Chairman was removed & replaced by the VC then returned as Chairman when the VC was made Minister of Labour who still remains a Director of NBS!!! · Amendment to the NBS Act was rushed thru Parliament (see comment below) · The Dep CEO who received G$10M from the scam, remains at NBS despite PROOF of other major irregularities & corruption altho made available to the Board & the Bank of Guyana!
