In amongst my normal mail of bills, final demands, death threats, marriage proposals & Domino pizza flyers was a Get Well Soon card from my work. It was signed by my work colleagues but best of all £25 worth of Forbidden Planet vouchers tumbled out when I opened it!! :-) Im genuinely really chuffed & really touched. Its perfect timing as the Zenith graphic novel by Grant Morrison that Ive been waiting for about 25 years to come back into print did so last week so these vouchers have a shorter life span than a sick butterfly! Tammis taking me to spend them when she gets back from work. Yeah I know Ive had 3 operations & been in pain & discomfort for over 2years & Im facing a further 6 months of intense physio because of my drunken fall when I broke my arm, shoulder, nose, dislocated my shoulder into my chest, cracked 2 ribs & bit through the bottom of my lip but every cloud has a silver lining. If I hadnt I wouldnt of got these vouchers!! Happy Days! :-D
