Studying both classical and jazz at the University of Victoria and the University of Toronto, her education allows her to bring a breadth of knowledge and experience to her own music. Tara has had the opportunity to work and perform with leading international jazz artists, including Esperanza Spalding, Theo Bleckmann, Tim Hagans, Donny McCaslin, Tim Ries, Kirk MacDonald, Andrew Downing, and Terry Promane.
