In an increasingly, egocentricly driven lifestyle, not just in north America, but across the world.... Selflessness is becoming a lost personality trait. Most people dont even understand it. HELPING SOMEONE OUT , or doing a good deed, WHEN IT HAS NO IMMEDIATE OR LONG TERM BENEFIT TO THE HELPER. People dont get it. Why would you do that? Its a waste of MY precious time. MY TIME. Well with the larger influence of egocengricity, comes the lack of understanding that we are all interconnected at some level or another. The way we treat or interact with one person, influences that persons next interaction, and the one that follows. Its a ripple effect. It really is. Now you can dismiss this as another one of Tims happy posts, Yaya bla bla bla, and you can forget about it or you can go out tomorrow and smile as big as you can at the old man across the street. Buy a $5 toy for the kid in Walmart that you see behaving properly. If a lady with kids seems stressed at the gas station, go wash her window for her. Cut the neighbours grass. Tell that grumpy shady kid in class that you think his/her Tshirt is cool. Start the ripple effect. And I encourage you to try and start it 1000 times a day. You dont need to post a video of it. Just tell your friends to try it out as well. I challenge you. Feel free to share
