In defense of the Tea Party... The Tea Party reveres the Constitution, the Framers, and their infrastructure for constitutional governance. The Tea Party actually promotes the practice of politics as long as it takes place within the Framers institutional architecture. Its... what we live for! And, its what weve been ridiculed for as well. Im thankful for the Tea Party faction within the Republican Party, as both of our major political parties, Republican and Democrat, seem to be on a path which continues the growth of government; the growth of our national debt; the weakening of national defense: attacks on my Christian religion, values and heritage; rewarding the culture of dependence rather than independence; and a subtle but steady rewriting of our nations history. Our government is failing us, all of us, and even a total fool would have to admit that the efforts of this one group has caused us all to think about and reexamine what we want our country to be.. That is real politics, not the back room go along to get along crap that has our nation on the verge of bankruptcy.. We should be applauding these folk, not castigating them because they make things inconvenient for the dominant political establishment... My opinion...
