In his new book, former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says Liverpool need eight new players to win the title. Yes, they are short - but not by eight players. The other thing Ferguson said was about Steven Gerrard not being top class. I am sure if you asked some of the Manchester United players who have faced Gerrard in the last 15 years or so, then they would have a different opinion. I obviously have not read his book, but from some of the excerpts Ive seen, he has said some pretty silly things in my opinion.
