In honor of Domestic Violence awareness. Forgiveness is hard. Especially when it is not only your abuser that plagued you in childhood, but when it is a loved one you are drawn to. The purple is for the domestic violence that has been in my life since birth. The blur crystals are for the crystal meth that drove my mother to insanity through out my youth, starting from the womb. I might not wear this single, but hang it as a reminder from where I come from. Not as a reminder of the bad, but as a symbol that recovery is always possible and that the hard times we are dealt in life are there to make us stronger.
