In honor of Kane Buss, I encourage everyone to do a random act of kindness today and in many days ahead. His final act of kindness and heroism on this Earth was saving the life of Amanda Pawlikowski, forever her Superman. Officer Buss is no doubt flying high, a hero to so many. After all of the services this weekend, Ive never been as proud to be part of the Oneida/VVS community. Amazing to see such support and solidarity. Remember theres no such thing as a small act of kindess. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. I hope that Amanda, the Busss, the Pawlikowskis and everyone else grieving finds comfort in knowing that the ripple Kane has created has no end in sight. Whether you knew him or not, we can all honor Kane and others whose lives have tragically been cut too short by being kind, smiling to strangers, expressing your love to those you hold dear and making a positive difference in any way possible every day. Rest in peace and party your sneakers off Kane. And Amanda, he said it best to you, his words via instagram which have even more meaning now...love you! miss you. see you later!
