In late September I participated in a luncheon with Congressman Trey Gowdy and Congressman Sean Duffy in Eau Claire. At the luncheon Congressman Gowdy gave an excellent speech, and while visiting with him afterwards I told him I thought it was a speech every party Republican across the country should hear. I asked him if hed ever recorded it, to which he said he had not. I encouraged him to record it and then contact the RNC to see if they can get it out to the County GOP groups around the country. He took my card and said hed look into it. While driving away from the gathering I contacted our regional RNC staffer and asked him if theyd have interest in the idea. After several days of back and forth the answer was basically, Thanks for the idea, well consider it. Then in mid October, out of the blue, a member of Congressman Gowdys campaign staff contacted me with a link to the video he had recorded! A great guy, a great Congressman, and a leader to watch!
