In less than a year Ive gotten the chance to converse with a multi-billionaire, a diplomat, a few multi-millionaires, dozens of business owners, a Grammy-winning recording artist, and people from all over the world. No, I didnt speak to these people over the internet nor did I go to an event to find them. I didnt introduce myself as a musician, I didnt talk about accolades and other accomplishments. I didnt even know who these people were after the initial greeting. I simply engaged in conversation with them. The funny thing about it is, I met these people while walking the streets of St. Louis; a city not known for sightings of high profile people. You never know how far a Hello can get you. Nothing beats an intimate conversation where people can feel your spirit, touch you, and experience the same moment with you in person. Ive gained knowledge from these people I believe would have never occurred over the internet. Not to mention the free meals and free money they just gave me for being there! Make today the day you jog less with your earbuds plugged in. Look approachable. Make today the day you look someone in the eyes as you walk pass them. Say Hello. Make today the day you say a word or two to that person sitting next to you. This is the #LowBatteryChallenge. Pretend your phone, laptop, or tablet doesnt work when youre out in public.
