In light of the recent tragic climate events that claimed dozens of lives, cost millions of dollars and caused major disturbances to many lives all around southern Morocco, thousands of families have been displaced, and their lives have changed forever. Beyond the struggle to rebuild and hope that these people will someday gain a sense of normalcy in their existence, one thing is clear! The Moroccan government’s response to the disaster has been largely lagging, unresponsive, or overwhelmed to deal with the broad scope of flood victims miserable situation.
