In light of this weeks tragic events it has been amazing to watch this nation come together the way it has. Living in both the states and here at home theres always been a noticeable difference to how the nations militaries are recognized, but this week alone Ive had more people approach me in uniform to pass on their thanks. Ive seen more videos, statuses and stories recognizing and thanking the troops who gave their lives, for those of us who continue to serve and Ive never been more proud to wear the uniform. Words will never describe the proud feeling that goes with donning our uniform and doing our job but look at those soldiers face after they hear the arena proudly sing our national anthem and it says it all. A picture worth a thousand words. Very classy movement from the ottawa senators, the Montreal canadiens and Toronto maples. And the NHL! Give this a watch!
