One thing we must learn before we die is to spend time alone with God and his word. I have learned i need to study the good word for myself not out of formality not to have the right things to say so people think we live a certain way or Im smart or knowledgable. God knows our heart and our intentions. We have to be real and live out the way God wants us to. The only way to live is to live like Christ that should be our only agenda. We will not be given a special merit for how much we do or how much we know. John 21:18 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go. Jesus was telling Peter he was going to die but wanted to prepare him for life after so that he continued to follow God without Jesus and that others would look at him and follow Jesus as well. life was easier when you were younger now I will lead you to places you dont want to go your life will not be perfect you will have struggles and suffering this is the price we pay to follow Jesus. This is nothing compared to the price he paid for us.
