In light of yesterday’s national observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our office will be highlighting various local service organizations beginning this week with the first edition of our monthly “Spotlight on Service”. Each month we will feature a different organization that provides a service to our community here in the 8th District. This month’s organization is Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey, a volunteer group that collects donated food and personal items for soldiers serving in areas of conflict. Our district office proudly serves as a collection point for Operation Yellow Ribbon (and has since 2009).
