In moving a standing drill press, I dropped a metal vice/guide that sat on it. My cat was underfoot at that moment and had perceived a threat to himself prior to the falling of the (to me) small vice. He was already in a safe place when my clumsy mistake resulted in this (to him) heavy object) met the floor. As with my cat, a real and profound spirit existing with me, must we accommodate those (to us) powerful motions that exist around us outside of our warrant, consent, or control, as they may not seek to crush us yet could do so through their own limited grace.
