In my Bible study this morning, I revisited first the garden of Eden. To whom did the serpent go when he sought the ruin of Adam and Eve? The woman!(Gen 3:1) Beth Moore had me considering the power of feminine influence. When Paul and Barnabas went on the first missionary journey, the opposition purposefully first incited God fearing women. (Acts 13:48- 14:23) These women so easily became persecutors of the truth and used their influence destructively. How do you use the most wonderful and terrible gift of influence? Be intentional today to use it to teach, nurture, encourage, exhort, and disciple someone in your sphere of influence.
