"In my view the Tea Party Republicans are doing far more damage to Americans than the Taliban have in the last 12 years our armed forces have fought, killed and died in Afghanistan. People in this country by the millions are still struggling with long term unemployment, many have had their unemployment insurance exhausted and face extreme poverty and despair on a daily basis. People by the millions have lost their homes, their jobs, their good health and hopes of a fruitful future due in great part to the indifference of people in power to financial services gangsters operating under the color of laws they themselves helped to write! In the face of all of this pain the Republican Party and it’s forces in the U.S. Congress propose a doubling of their previous 20 billion dollar cuts to SNAP (food stamps) to 40 billion dollars as they continue to lie about a now non existent trillion dollar debt crisis. It would be one thing (not one thing I agree with) if they said the Federal Government doesn’t create jobs so we are shutting it down because we have a plan to create wide spread economic growth at the city and state level and are implementing that growth plan and here are our results. But they are not doing that.
