In our last Client Newsletter, I told the story of how I felt I was getting old. Yesterday I was to play in a golf day for Norths Soccer Club. We had to be out at Cessnock at 7.30 am. I was the designated driver and had just collected the others in our team to begin the journey to Cessnock when we received the text that the golf day had been called off due to the amount of rain. It was 6.45 am on a Sunday morning. What were we to do? We decided to go to McDonalds. Back in the old days, we would have caught up by going to the pub and having a few beers. How times have changed. Here we were having breakfast, having our tea or coffee or in my case chai latte discussing recent events just like we used to do at the pub. We were that early, that we even beat the morning cyclists. The question is now, will it be same time next week?
