In our lives there are so many people who will try and bring us down, hope for our failure, wait for our fall... There are times when these things are done by people we thought loved us or cared for us, who we thought were our friends, and people that we expect it from... It happens and often we wonder why or how these things could be done, and at times we want to just hurt them the way they hurt us if not worse... But, may I ask what would that accomplish, what would it change...? If anything it would most likely make things worse, see God loves us so much that He promised to be our defender that if anyone shall come against us they are coming against Him because He is our Father... Trust and know that we do NOT have to react or try and take things in our own hands... God will take care of them and as long as we allow Him to He will bless us for leaving it in His hands and there will be times where He will bless us in front of those who have wronged us... DO not worry for you are in the Lords hands but, its all on you whether or not you are going to leave them in His hands... And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Zephaniah 3:19-20
