In respect to the principles of citizen journalism, I am posting this source unknown to me -- a blogger who claims to have worked in the oil industry for decades. He argues that slant drilling can give Israel access to oil fields in the Northeastern corner of Gaza; that Noble (Israeli/US) energy is taking part of the Noa gas fields that belong to Palestine; that an Israeli access point to gas development on the coast is off limits; and that the Oslo accords take some valuable land re gas and oil exploitation. We should a) confirm or not-confirm this piece; b) see how it maps against destruction of infrastructure and against the re-siting of all of the IDFs major facilities, surveillance and intelligence functions to the area and c) see how it maps against the buffer zones plowed by Israel in the last invasion. Remember this is UNCONFIRMED -- the start not the end of an investigation. Ignore the last section, unrelated. Do we have gas and oil industry workers or former workers in this forum?
