In summary, Id like to nominate everyone everywhere who has more than what they need to donate what they can to the people who need it most, because thats what charity is about, not putting yourself through mild discomfort with a bucket of ice and water. ^^ Very true.. Also, it HAS to be said, the ice bucket challenge was started in New Zealand, in the middle of freezing cold winter where they couldnt go stand in a warm summer sun to warm up after doing it.. It was also started with 3 buckets of water (two over you head while you had your feet in one then the you stood up and tipped the third bucket over your own head) and America pussied it up. Donations were to be made to whatever charity you chose. Some famous American chose the ALS Foundation and America has run with it. It sucks that the now $50 million could have gone to cancer research but, hey, money to charity is fantastic. But my donation will be made with food to a local pet shelter.. not with water on my head on facebook :)
