> > > In the Principles of Translation section in the introduction of the New American Standard version, it says: The Proper Name of God in the Old Testament: In the Scriptures, the name of god is most significant and understandably so. It is inconceivable to think of spiritual matters without a proper designation for the Supreme Deity. Thus the most common name for the deity is God, a translation of the original Elohim. Please note “the confusion” in their explanation: On one hand they say it is “significant”, also “inconceivable to think on spiritual matters without a “proper designation for “the Supreme deity”. They say the most “common name” is God, a translation of the original Elohim. They give us a “false understanding” that “the” common name for God is HIS NAME “God,” translated from Elohim. This is “ridiculous” and a “lie” because “God” is not a proper name. God is a “noun” but not a “proper noun”. YHWH is HIS NAME, God or Elohim is describing “HIS position”. For example, we can say, “Look, here comes the King.” This is not giving us “the name of the king. Or we could give more understanding in our speech and say, Look, here comes King James.” The word “king” is a noun, but not a name. When we say, here comes King James, we are saying the “king” is coming and his “name” is James. Our Elohim [God] is named YAHWAH. Again, in the Principles of Translation section in the introduction of the New American Standard version, it continues: One of the titles for God is Lord, a translation of Adonai. There is yet another name for which is particularly assigned to God as His special or proper name, that is, the four letters YHWH pronounced phonetically as YaHWaH in the following 2 Scriptures. EXODUS {SHEMOTH}3:15 And ELOHIM {GOD} said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, YHWH {YaHWaH} ELOHIM {GOD} of your fathers, the ELOHIM {GOD} of Abraham, the ELOHIM {GOD} of Isaac, and the ELOHIM {GOD} of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is “MY NAME” FOR EVER, and this is “MY MEMORIAL” unto all generations. We see here that our ELOHIM {GOD} is telling Moses and the world that HIS NAME IS “YHWH” [YaHWaH] and that HIS NAME is a “MEMORIAL FOR EVER”. Question, when does “FOR EVER” stop? Answer, it does not stop. ISAIAH {YESHAYAH} 42:8 I am “YHWH”: that is “MY NAME”: and MY glory will I not give to another, neither MY praise to graven images. The Principles of Translation continue and says, “THIS NAME” of “YHWH” [YaHWaH] has not been pronounced by the Jews because of reverence for the great sacredness of the Divine Name. Therefore, it has been consistently translated Lord. The only exception to this translation of YHWH is when it occurs in immediate proximity to the word Lord, that is, Adonai. In that case it is regularly translated God in order to avoid confusion. It is known that for many years YHWH has been transliterated as Yahweh, however no complete certainty attaches to this pronunciation. Again, please note the “lies” in their “damnable teachings.” There is not a “book, chapter or verse” for any such “nonsense” of “not vocalizing” the SACRED NAME of “YHWH” [YaHWaH]. This is an out right lie that “smacks” in the face of “THE TANACK”. THE TANACK states the contrary in following Scriptures. PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 30:1 I will “EXTOL” thee, O “YHWH” [YaHWaH]; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me To “EXALT” the NAME OF “YHWH {YaHWaH}” one must use mouth, vocalizing HIS NAME of “YHWH” [YaHWaH]. PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 117:1 O praise YHWH {YaHWaH}, all ye nations: “PRAISE” HIM, all ye people. PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 145:2 Every day will I “BLESS” “THEE; and I will “PRAISE” “THY NAME FOR EVER AND FOR EVER.” To “PRAISE” the NAME OF YHWH {YaHWaH} one must use mouth, vocalizing HIS NAME of “YHWH” [YaHWaH]. How idiotic it would be to follow “false, damnable heresy” of not saying HIS SACRED NAME when our authority and measurement for truth, THE TANACK says “for all nations to “PRAISE” HIS NAME YHWH {YaHWaH}”. If you were “obedient” to man, then automatically you would be “disobedient” to THE TANACK. Who are you going to follow “THE TANACK” or the “traditions of false prophets”? PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 34:1: I will “BLESS” “YHWH {YaHWaH}” at all times: HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth. {2} My soul shall make her “BOAST” in “YHWH {YaHWaH}”: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. {3} O “MAGNIFY” “YHWH {YaHWaH}” with me, and let us “EXALT” HIS NAME together. {4} I sought “YHWH {YaHWaH}”, and HE heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. To “BLESS”; To “BOAST”; To “MAGNIFY”; To “EXALT”; the NAME OF YHWH {YaHWaH} one must use ones mouth, and vocalizing HIS NAME of “YHWH” [YaHWaH]. HERE IS A “NO BRAINER”. CHECK THIS OUT. ISAIAH {YESHAYAH} 6:3 And one “CRIED” unto another, and “SAID” , Holy, holy, holy, is YHWH {YaHWaH} of hosts: the whole earth is full of HIS glory. It does not take “too much of a brain” to understand this. The words “CRIED” and “SAID” is to “CRY” and to “SAY”. To “CRY” and to “SAY” the NAME OF YHWH {YaHWaH} one must use ones mouth, and vocalizing HIS NAME of “YHWH” [YaHWaH]. It is a “NO BRAINER” and to understand this you do not have to be a “ROCKET SCIENTIST”. All you have to do is to “believe” the “TANACK”. Would you prefer to go along with the “crowd”, with the “replacement theologians” or to follow the “straight and narrow way” and to believe “THE TANACK”. If we were given the choice, we would merely insert YHWH every time it is used in the Hebrew Old Testament. If that is what the Holy Spirit chose to use, it is good enough for us! > Jehovah cannot be “THE NAME OF OUR GOD” since neither Hebrew, Greek, Latin dont even have a letter J and English did not have the letter J before about 1500 AD? The name Jesus, John, Joanna, Jew all started in the Greek with the letter I, not J. As the introduction to the New American Standard confirms, the proper way of spelling YHWH in the English language would be YaHWaH, not Jehovah. Jehovah was popularized by a catholic monk who lived in the 12th century AD. In fact Jehovah was never used before this! The form Jehovah results from reading the consonants of the Tetragrammaton with the vowels of the surrogate word Adonai. The dissemination of this form is usually traced to “PETRUS GALATINUS, confessor to Pope Leo X, who in 1518 a.d. transliterated the four Hebrew letters {YHWH} with the Latin letters jhvh together with the vowels of Adonai, producing the “ARTIFICIAL FORM”; “THE HYBRED FORM” Jehovah. (This confused usage may, however, have begun as early as 1100 a.d.; note KB, 369). While the HYBRED form Jehovah has met much resistance, and is universally regarded as an “UNGRAMMATICAL ABERRATION”, it nonetheless passed from Latin into English and other European languages and has been hallowed by usage in hymns and the ASV; it is used only a few times in KJV. > > > > > {י} Yud = Hand; {ה} Hei = Behold; {ו}Wav = Nail; {ה} Hei = Behold, so YHWH means Behold The Hand, Behold The Nail. These letters put together create THE SACRED NAME יהוה {pronounced YAHWAH} THE SAVIOR, our MESSIAH, came in The Name Of יהוה [YHWH] {pronounced phonetically as YAHWAH } to save us from our sins. YHWH is The Name Of Our Creator, Maker, and Redeemer of this world, not only Savior but our God {ELOHIM}. We in The Hebrew language do not need vowels to speak יהוה phonetically, we pronounce it phonetically in the English lettering system as YAHWAH. > > A LETTER TO A FRIEND YAHWAH VERSUS YAHWEH It is the same Name Of יהוה , you pronounce The Name as Yahweh, we pronounce it as YAHWAH, for various reasons. {1} The Concordance Hebrew #1961 & #1933 are the 2 root words for יהוה. Hayah for #1961, and Hawah for #1933, thus we conclude to the phonetic sounding of YAHWAH. {2} We say hallelu yah, not hallelu yeh, if the first ה is pronounced ah thus the yah sounding, then the second ה is pronounced ah {not an eh sounding} thus the wah sounding. {3} When it is broken down grammatically in The Hebrew rules of grammar, yah breaks down to be a masculine word in The Hebrew rules of grammar, and wah breaks down to be a feminine word in The Hebrew rules of grammar, concluding, again, to the phonetic sounding of YAHWAH. יהוה, Himself spoke to me and gave me this explanation: As I created Adam, he had all the estrogens and progesterone. When I { יהוה } created Eve {Chavvah} from the rib of Adam, then Adam had a major portion of progesterone and a minor amount of estrogen. And the opposite was true with Eve {Chavvah}, she had a major portion of estrogen and a minor amount of progesterone. When they came together in marital intimacy they became as one, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When young men get married, many times they go into the marriage being too disciplinarian. The opposite is true with most young women going in a marital relationship, they are too lenient, too merciful. Now as they mix their passions, their wines together in marital intimacy many times a man will recognize he is too much of a disciplinarian, and needs to be more compassionate, or merciful. On the other hand, the wife many times will recognize she is over compassionate, or merciful, and needs to be more disciplinarian. יהוה then spoke to me saying, I am an ELOHIM that is whole, complete, My mercies are from everlasting but I will discipline My children, when needed. Thus we use the phonetic sounding of יהוה as YAHWAH, because יהוה is complete and whole being just and merciful at the same time He knows how to discipline His children. It is impossible to remove YHWH {יהוה pronounced YAHWAH} from the OLD TESTAMENT {THE TANACK}, because it is found in every original Hebrew Manuscript. (However, YHWH is never found in any manuscript of the New Testament.) The American Standard version and Youngs Literal Translation, always uses Jehovah when the Tetragrammaton is found in the Hebrew. Reputable Bibles like the King James version and the New American Standard version do not remove THE DIVINE NAME from the OLD TESTAMENT {THE TANACK},. The King James Version uses Jehovah many times: EXODUS {SHEMOTH} 6:2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am Jehovah: PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth. ISAIAH {YESHAYAH} 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. ISAIAH {YESHAYAH} 26:4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 117:1 O praise YHWH {YaHWaH}, all ye nations: “PRAISE” HIM, all ye people. PSALM {TEHILLIYM} 145:2 Every day will I “BLESS” “THEE; and I will “PRAISE” “THY NAME FOR EVER AND FOR EVER.” ENJOY THE YOU-TUBE, “THE NAME OF THE FATHER youtube/watch?v=CFSNaCHq0A0&feature=related SIMPLICITY OF THE GOSPEL: there is no name of a jesus; yeshua; yashua; yahoshua;; yehoshua; joshua; in THE TANACK for our SAVIOR; CREATOR; SHEPHERD; FATHER; ALPHA & OMEGA. But we preach MESSIAH YAHWAH crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, MESSIAH YAHWAH the power of ELOHIM and the wisdom of ELOHIM .
