In the absence of Cheeky Chas Chas Hewitt and Krafty Kym Kym - TopicsExpress

In the absence of Cheeky Chas Chas Hewitt and Krafty Kym Kym Haggett I suppose Id better do the Sunday morning round up. Firstly welcome to my overseas readers from Canada, Florida, and Auckland. Touchstone are a tried and trusted band, the turnout showed that they remain popular, and they didnt disappoint. Rather ironic that after last weeks band, their first three numbers were by Hank Marvin, The Shadows, and Cliff Richard :D but they done a good mix of sixties to set the ball rolling while people were still guzzling a few beers. The second set was a mix of more popular and up to date tunes which had the dance floor filled. Now quite why three young blonde girls should start line dancing without any prompting is a mystery to me, but it would have been rude not to have joined in, so I did :D Louise Ayres was enjoying a special blue shot most of the night, very imaginative that girl :) Thanks to all the bar staff - still think we could do with one more pair of hands on busy nights like last night - but theres no need to join a gym Pam Grig, running up and down the bar red faced all night and plonking yourself in front of the fan every 5 minutes shows that youre getting enough exercise :) Reading the AGM minutes I still see that Saturday night entertainment is under review, thats crazy in my book as none of the people that are in our circle ever play snooker yet that never seems to get under review. Like for like floor space and all that? Ok, thatll do. Enjoy your Sunday :D
