In the world of unemployment, it is easy to find yourself swimming in a sea of doubt and anxiety. And, to be real, thats where I was yesterday (and thew day before that...and the day before that..). So, today, i figured it was time to try a different approach. I decided that as of today, I am not unemployed - instead I am simply on vacation until my next job. When were on vacation our mind shifts to a different place. We seek refreshment and renewal typically as we take a well deserved break. With that in mind, I took a day of renewal for mind body heart and soul as apparently I need a vacation:) I slept in. had two cups of coffee and watched the Today Show.. (yawn). Total decadence. But wait - there is more. I went and got my nails done and had lunch with my BFF (laughing is so good for the soul). But guess what? Then I went to get a massage. Awesome huh? How about also scheduling a life coaching call with my coach? That makes sure Im emotionally and mentally recharged. How will I finish this day? Simple - Ill be watching the Giants win the World Series. #icingonthecake Totally relaxed and living in the moment. Thats how Ill thrive through time. Work will come and when it does, Ill be ready and eager to get back to work, but in the meantime? Im on vacation. #makinglemonade #nofilter
