In this group I would like to allow everyone who admires Yuja Wang to share pictures ou videos and comment, but also to let place to learn if possible a little bit mpore about this exceptiuonnal artist. Is this video the ultimate interview with Yuja Wang ? Maybe not ... but it is surely one of the most exciting that Yuja Wang gave ... she talks about her musical preferences, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Stravinsky, the Russian composers of course ... but also her fears (if one may say so) to enter into the world of other composers such as Beethoven and Brahms. I think it is unnecessary to transcribe exactly what she said (and she says so much !!! ...) in this interview ... To sum up, and shortening much, Russian composers seem totransmit direct feelings, both for her and for the listeners, although she also feels that those musicians are able to get us up to a higher human dimension ... while Brahms or Beethoven appear to require greater maturity in the mind and heart. ... About Chopin, she finds his work perfect while being extremely innovative ... Take the time to listen and listen to this great interview !!! Some great absent alas ...
