In wrapping up one of the best weekends of my life Ill share my top two most moving comments. Sat. Night as we walked into the restaurant, another customer said to me how adorable she looks in that dress, it must be a special occasion! My response- sure is, its a Saturday night!!! Next one was reflecting back on the weekend on our drive home at 930pm I asked Sofia... What was your favorite part of the weekend? Her response went on for about 3 mins naming all of the things that we did. Then I asked her if she knew what my favorite part was...her response shook me as it came out of her mouth and read from my mind. 4years old and she without hesitation said of course I know what your favorite part was dad, it was that you got to spend all your time with me!!! this weekends life lesson from my 4 year old daughter was a reminder that a special day doesnt have to be a holiday. It can be any day of the week and that lifes responsibilities often pull and occupy our time away from things that we could be spending time on things that are more important. But when you do have the extra time. Make it count! This weekend I made every second of it count and she knew it and in return she showed me she knew it too! Have a great week everyone!!!
