Incredible Rescues: Dog Saves Owner Injured In Canyon Fall Anyone who has owned and loved a pet will know just how much joy they can bring to our lives, but sometimes our pets bring us more than just giggles and constant unconditional companionship, sometimes they actually save our lives. There are countless stories of animals waking their owners in the event of a house fire, or alerting them to other dangers that end up saving their lives and their courage and bravery is simply astounding. This is one of those heartwarming stories, where a dog managed to alert rescue workers and lead them to his owner who had fallen and smashed her pelvis in a remote Utah canyon. She was trapped, barely able to drag herself a few inches, but luckily she had Taz there with her. Knowing she would not survive long, she implored her incredible pooch to leave her side and find help! Before long he returned with a rescue worker who saw the dog and just knew he had to follow!
