Indecent Exposure Alert An alert neighbor was walking in the MPNW residential area Tuesday morning, October 22nd, when a white male sitting in the front seat of a parked metallic gold 2000-ish Mazda 3 hatchback intentionally exposed, or flashed himself to her. A few minutes later she saw the same car and suspect behaving suspiciously directly in front of Monterey Park School. She called the Salinas PD and filed a report. The description she gave was white male in his 30s with long, brown, messy hair, scruffy beard and possible acne scars on his face. He was also wearing a baseball cap, a distinctive fluorescent safety vest with an orange stripe, and under the vest he was wearing a red and white jacket. If anyone else notices a similar vehicle occupied by someone matching that description, please contact the police department at 758-7321 with the details, including,. if its safe to obtain, the vehicle license number. A couple of points could be made here. Offenders of this type normally keep offending until caught, but they sometimes change locations so similar locales in other neighborhoods might wish to be on alert. Secondly, his distinctive vest and jacket may be important in identifying and locating this individual.
