Now theres a thing, a word to make a true Scot sing, But singins all we Scots can do, thats when weve hud a dram or two. In days gone by we had oor chance, the auld alliance we had wae France, The pact we made wi Wallace an Bruce, instead we chose an English truce. Countless thousands died in vain, supporting Scotland to the end. Forgetting that, historic oath, The Declaration o Arbroath. But now we have a chance again, fur freedom fae thae Englishmen, Nae need fur bloodlust, timespast, we fote, noo awe we huv tae dae is vote. Redeem oorsels for days gone by, an once more lift our heads up high. Take advantage at the next election, gie us back an Independant Nation
