Injury relapse knocks out Arsenal star Arsenal will playing Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match day 3 fixture against Borussia Dortmund without their pacy winger Theo Walcott after the England international suffered a setback in training as he bids to return back to action. Walcott who has before now missed four weeks of action is set to miss a further 2 weeks due to an unknown injury which later led to an abdominal surgery. Situation report The Gunners Coach Arsene Wenger is fully aware that Walcott is not in his Arsenal for the clash against the Germans as he gave the Telegraph a situation report on the player. -He had to stop, to jog again – he is at least two weeks away now, Wenger was quoted by the Telegraph. Walcott aside missing Arsenal’s clash against Dortmund tomorrow will as well miss the matches against Crystal Palace next Saturday as well as the capital one 4th round clash against Chelsea but he is likely to be back in time for then Arsenal take on Liverpool in two weeks time. Injury list Arsenal fans will take consolation in the fact that their team has been doing well despite the growing injury list that has also has the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain who is ruled out till December, Lukas Podolski who only yesterday announced he is due back to action in the next 4 weeks, Abou Diaby who is out for a further 5 months, Yaya Sanogo ( unknown return date ) and Zalelam who is expected back in the next 2 weeks.
