Inme Updates - 30th May - Update 1 ------------------------------------------- Uroli (U1), Tons (T4, T5), Triple Trouble (TT2), Kedarkantha Expedition (KE1), Uroli Bike Hike (UB1) (Press see more to view entire update) U1 Update --------------- A record 5th straight day of perfect summer camp weather. Cool in the evenings and nice and warm during the day. Children woke up early morning (many did not need a wake up call)! After a nice round of energizers and a scrumptious breakfast they were ready for the days activities. Group is off for their wow for the last time during U1 program this year. They will be back to camp by lunch time. Lots planned for the evening! At least 20 children have asked to stay on for the next camp!! Music to our ears! T4 Update -------------- Children were emotional as they packed their rucksacks and vacated their tents. They had a feedback and closing session with the campus chief. They will have an early lunch and leave camp by 12:30 pm. T5 Update ------------- The children woke up to cloudy skies and had a good session of elastic limbs followed by breakfast. We had a mild shower of rain after breakfast and it stopped soon after. The Rock climbers went to the village to contribute to the village project. The bikers are working on the basics of biking - gear control, braking techniques. The backpackers are having a session on tent pitching and ruck sack packing. All the children will leave camp at 10:30 am for a longer stretch of rafting. They will be back to camp by lunch time. All are well and in high spirits! TT2 Update ---------------- Clear sunny morning and the children woke up early all set for another day of adventure. They have been divided into two groups today. Group A will do rafting and will raft to the NIM beach. Group B is off for kayaking and will have skill building session starting with a safety brief, learn to maneuver a kayak, work on balancing and paddling techniques. The children return to camp by lunch time. All are well and super excited as they got into their gear and left camp! KE1 Update -------------- The children will leave camp today and were emotional about leaving their new friends, but happy about the experience they have had. Post a feedback and appreciation session, they will have an early lunch and leave camp by 12:30 pm. UB1 Update ---------------- Children were a emotional as they packed their tents for the last time on this expedition. All cheered loudly for themselves as they mounted their cycles this morning.They are now cycling back to the Uroli camp and are expected to reach by lunch time. Our team is all set to welcome the young adventurers with hot lunch! All are well and we are sure will return full of stories and fond memories! _______________________________________________
