Inspirational Lauren Burnett after bouncing back from giving birth to looking and feeling fit again. And Tom Frame who is not just her partner but her trainer whos helped her with her transformation so far. Heres Laurens story: The first photo was taken just 6 weeks AFTER I gave birth to my second baby. I had been to my GP for my 6 week check-up and he said that it was just fat and that I should try to shift it, if anything, to increase my energy levels. I found it extremely hard at first and couldnt see any results. I was embarrassed going to the gym or running with 3 stone extra weight. I was lucky though as my partner worked in a gym and could train me but I could still think of a thousand excuses daily not to train, i.e., childcare, housework, lack of sleep, tiredness through breastfeeding etc. However, I found training gave me more energy! I started slowly, training twice a week. If I had a friend or family member visit me at home, I would ask if they would watch the babies for a short time whilst I went for a run. At first I could only run 100 yards and walk 100 yards but on Sunday (7th September 2014) I ran 5k for SCUBU in 27.5 minutes! I did stick to a good eating regime with some great recipes from @rawsomerebel and eating at Moo and also getting tips on line. I also made sure to have the occasional cheat day. I am not doing all this hard work for a quick fix - I am doing it for a lifestyle choice. I now have energy to look after my two babies and when hungry, I nourish my body (80% of the time!) and I never skip meals. Along my weight-loss journey, there were some tears and tantrums, ask my partner, but I finally feel confident in my clothes and body again. My weight-loss and fitness levels make me proud and I believe balance is the key. Thanks to a great trainer, Tom Frame.
