Inspirational Words October 29, 2013 May these words find their way into the heart and mind of someone who needs to hear them today. Doug & Linda Thomas Nelson’s Bibles.....The Voice Verse of the Day is from Titus 1:2 We rest in this hope weve been given - the hope that we will live forever with our God - the hope that He proclaimed ages and ages ago (even before time began). And our God is no liar; He is not even capable of uttering lies. Tough Questions From Max Lucado’s Upwards - Some questions aren’t always easy to answer. Maybe that’s the way it should be! Here’s just that kind of question: “I get tired of hearing people brush aside troubles with the platitude in Romans 8:28, ‘All things work together for good.’ Isn’t saying that cruel?” The verse says, “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love Him.” I think it’s one of the most helpful, comforting verses in the entire Bible. It announces God’s sovereignty in any painful, tragic situation we face. Why? Because we know God is at work for our good! He uses our struggles to build character. So what do we do? We trust. Totally! And we remember. . .God is working for the good. Yes, any verse can be misused, but that doesn’t make it useless! From: Max on Life Dale Hamilton Awaken our hearts, dear Father, awaken us from the deep sleep we have been in. Give us the faith in You to know that Your ways are true and to be able to see through the ways of darkness. Let us open our hearts to You so that we will be able to witness things that we have never seen before. At times we have been contaminated by this world, but now we are ready to see things in a whole new perspective. Awaken us!! Paula White Don’t give your heart to people who can’t handle it! You are too valuable to be violated. T.D. Jakes Ministries Take the limits off! Ignore the “lines” imposed on you by your experiences. Yes, the lines were drawn, but God has given you a new “sheet of paper”! You can reposition yourself to draw new lines in your life! Tajuan McCarty God uses pressure, heat, and time to create diamonds. In both rocks and people. ~~Rick Warren Ouch. Truth. Amen!! Tommy Puckett Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no ones definition of your life; define yourself. - Harvey Fierstein Michael Jeremiah I am going from glory to glory, no matter what the enemy says, I shall make it for the bible says.....A little one shall become a thousand and a small one, a strong nation. I, the Lord will hasten it in his Time. Let someone say, Amen! Ed Wrather The very best way to handle frustrating, anger provoking situations is to be prepared for them far in advance. How do you do that? By walking with God on a daily basis, reading His Word, praying, going to church, and serving Him. Memorize those verses of Scripture dealing with anger and imbed them in your heart. As you walk with God, you will give Him an opportunity to develop in you the fruit of the Spirit, which are, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. If any of the fruit of the Spirit is within you, it will be very hard for anyone to provoke you into an outburst of wrath. - Ed Wrather (When You Cant Take It Anymore 01.16.06) Joseph Prince Meditate On …the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11 Right Happenings Come From Jesus Never forget that “the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong…but time and chance happen to them all.” God wants you to have the right timing—His timing, and He wants to lead you to the right places. Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…” You are that “good man” because you are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). Now, look at the word “happen” in Ecclesiastes 9:11. In the original Hebrew text, it is the word qarah, which means “to encounter, to meet (without pre-arrangement), to chance to be present.” In a nutshell, it means “right happening.” So you can depend on the Lord to cause you to be at the right place at the right time, to have right happenings happen in your life! I’m sure that you would agree that being at the right place at the right time is a tremendous blessing. You certainly don’t want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time! Beloved, don’t depend on how smart you are and how well you plan your day. Only Jesus knows how to place you at the right place at the right time. So depend on Him for right happenings. Commit your plans to Him and let Him lead you supernaturally into good success in all that you do! 2 Millions Bikers to DC Our Gracious Heavenly Father, Please grant us the Wisdom to construct our plans to overthrow the tyranny that is trying to remove you and our Constitutional Rights from our lives, so we may live in peace and in faith.
