Inspired by Humans of New York and a humble copy of its format. A project started by wedding photographer, Stuart Holden in Western Australia. A tribute to the people that make up our great state and a brief glimpse into their lives. Its a copy of a proven format - Humans of New York. The act of asking someone if you can create a portrait of them is both humbling and terrifying. Taking the time to sit and listen to people. Their lives, their stories and to share. The aim is to take 300 portraits in the memory of the late Luke Wales, who inspired us all to look past the exterior of others and to see the person for who they really are. A Human being.
