Inspired by a friends (Wil Birchard Snodgrass III) post: human rights are not culturally defined, though they are culturally relative. Such relativity, however, does not take away from the fundamental fact of human worth and dignity. I do not care what the more avid isolationists and/or hyper-relativists claim. Calling oppression oppression is not colonialism. The one calling out oppression may be hypocritical, but it does not make the oppression any less oppressive.
