Instead of posting a link on New Years Resolutions, I decided I would write my views myself...29 years in the business has to account for something! People cannot argue, that working out has more benefits than not! In a matter of fact, I cant think of any fault in exercise whatsoever!! Perhaps if you asked me in my prime, my answer might of been different. However, to me, today, it is the cure for everything! I started exercise to become stronger...physically but more importantly emotionally and mentally! To make a long story short...I was always thin and sadly, that didnt mean always fit! I didnt like the way I felt more than the way I looked. Move ahead 29 years and here I am! I have seen clients over the years start exercising for many reasons. Those reasons vary from wanting to fit in a wedding dress to a doctors prescription for getting healthy! Heres the thing, starting an exercise plan is one thing, sticking with it is another...it takes work, it takes planning, it takes commitment, it takes motivation, it takes knowledge and most important, you have to believe first and foremost that you need to have fitness in your life... For Your Life! So remember this...January is just another month that reminds you to start now...another month that reminds you that exercise can only help, it can give you energy and relieve stress. It can lower blood pressure and help you lose weight or gain strength. January is another month reminding you to take the first step...walk through the studio door, go down in your basement and follow that fitness video or empty your pantry of unhealthy foods. January is a chance to start fresh, to try again and change your vision...you are important...put your health first and start with what you can commit to...once a week? Twice a week? Start somewhere!
