Interested in something special? Come on out to the Anderson Township Historical Society program on Wednesday, December 4. Their topic? “John Ruthven” They shall be welcoming Mr. John Ruthven, who has been given the title of The 20th Century Audubon.” Johns beautiful wildlife paintings are known far and wide. An amazing current endeavor is a 6,000 square-foot mural of Martha, the Last Passenger Pigeon which appears at Eighth and Vine streets, downtown. Please dont miss this opportunity to meet and greet John Ruthven, a man whose magnificent art has enriched our culture and our lives for many years. Refreshments served. Free. The public is invited. The Anderson Township Historical Society meets on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, Anderson Township, Lower Atrium, next to the History Room, at 7:30 PM.
