Interesting legal/ethical dilemma: Owner of a private cafe decided to enact a policy of not allowing Google Glass in his establishment. In that, his reasons dont matter: Its his private cafe, and policy is at his whim. The technology behind Google Glass amazes me, but, his reasons got me to thinking about the implications this technology will have in the future. At what point do we, as citizens, say that leaving the house does not automatically imply consent to be photographed or video-recorded? Will the 21st Century still allow us to say, Please dont do that while Im trying to enjoy a quiet lunch. I have done nothing to warrant being under surveillance, and I do not want to live as if I have. Please get that camera out of my face. Ive had enough.
